Manchester… ‘If an individual has profited from criminal activity and used the money to lead a lavish lifestyle then we will confiscate what we can’  Say Police

A homeowner convicted of drug dealing has been stripped of his home.

In November last year Kyle Goodier was given a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, at Liverpool Crown Court.

He pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis and perverting the course of justice.

Now police have seized his home after a Proceeds of Crime hearing.

Goodier used the money he acquired from supplying drugs to buy the house on Dudley Street in Orford. He also bought numerous designer items that were seized by police.

The confiscation order was made by Cheshire Constabulary’s Economic Crime Unit, who worked with Warrington’s Local Policing Unit after Goodier pleaded guilty to drugs offences.
